A guided creative writing workshop designed to get the creative juices flowing in a fun, pressure-free environment. Writing exercises, prompts and creative group activities to overcome the terror of the blank page and experiment with new forms and themes. Walk away with more confidence in your writing, and the beginnings of some new poems and short stories to keep working on at home.
Suitable for all ages - adults and kids both welcome! Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Non-participating adults are free of charge.

A professional wordsmith, prolific creative, super solo mum and Autistic woman, Megan J Riedl is a master facilitator of creative workshops. She is an award-winning spoken word poet and feels out loud in a range of mediums including collage, zines, theatre, and podcasting. Combining the personal and political, Megan leads by example in standing up, showing up and speaking up, sharing the messy, human experiences that often go unspoken. Drawing on her background in Secondary Teaching and experience as a theatrical director, writer and performer, Megan offers a creative experience that is inspiring and engaging, as well as educational.
